I thought i might try writing a gadget for Vista, the problem i normally have with things like this is trying to find a purpose for the project. The same week i started playing Hellgate:London and noticed that it uses Xfire for voice communications. So i thought would try to make a gadget to show xfire friends status.
the result can be downloaded :
Xfire.Gadget(the file should be called xfire.gadget to install correctly)
The detailed view takes awhile to load and can take afew clicks to appear, i think this is down to using the profile images generated by the xfire site.
